In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in the Middle East saw significant activity among top carpooling and ridesharing apps. Here's a breakdown of the performance trends for the leading applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced varied weekly download numbers, with peaks reaching around 45K in late April and early June. Active users showed fluctuations, peaking at over 1M in the week of May 26, but generally maintained a level above 900K throughout the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a consistent download trend, with a notable increase to 43K downloads at the end of April. Active users hovered between 400K and 500K, with a noticeable dip in early June before recovering.

Careem – rides, food & more saw a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of 35K in the final week of June. Active users showed a peak of over 850K in the beginning and maintained stability around 700K towards the end of the quarter.

Jeeny - Book Affordable Rides witnessed a rise in downloads, peaking at nearly 20K at the end of June. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 336K in late May before experiencing a decline.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching over 22K in the last week of the quarter. Active users also increased, peaking at approximately 74K in mid-June.
